東京って、緑がまぶしい！
ご存知でしたか？よく見ると、東京は街路樹の種類も量もとても多いんです。
自転車で走ると、色々な並木道を繋いで見ることができます。東京アースデイ自転車ライド2009のテーマは「東京並木めぐり」。
毎年、秋から4月のアースデイライドに向けて、テーマやより良いルートを探しながら走る毎月の試走会はプチ・アースデイライドです。今年はあと3月15日、4月12日の2回、季節の変化を感じながら、日曜の午後の都心を走り抜けます。
そして2009年4月19日アースデイライド当日、たくさんの人とマスライドを楽しみましょう！

【開催日程】 2009年4月19日（日）

【開催時間】11:00～12:45受付、13:00-スタート16:00-神宮外苑銀杏並木に車が入るため解散になります。
（11:00～12:30東京都自転車競技連盟と東京サイクリング協会が行う「自転車学校(*)」開催）
※自転車学校は小３位～中学生以下と高校生以上～一般に分けて実施（各15名程度）

【集合場所】 神宮外苑銀杏並木（銀杏並木を活用した催しを実施）

【参加費】 1500円、小学生以下1000円(オリジナル梨園染てぬぐい、EVERYDAY　EARTHDAY ステッカー、保険代等)

【定員】300名

－東京アースデイ自転車ライドでは、自転車＝車両のひとつという認識から道路交通法を遵守し、車やオートバイと車道を共有し、譲り合って走ります。
－信号を守り、並走することなく一列に車道左側端を走り、走行中は追い越し禁止とします。
－各自、自転車をご用意下さい。公道を走れる自転車なら車種は問いませんが、ブレーキの付いていない自転車は参加できません。事前点検をお忘れなく。
－雨天決行いたします。雨天の場合は、雨用のウェアをご用意下さい。
－参加費に含まれますノベルティ類は、当日集合時のみの配布といたします。
－当日受付時は”支払済みを証明できるもの”をご用意下さい。
－イベント当日はカメラマンが撮影を行っています。後日当サイト等に掲載されますことをご了承下さい。
－レースではありませんが、ヘルメット・グローブの着用をおすすめします。

Come join us again this year to celebrate the earth in our Tokyo Earthday 2009 Bicycle Ride. If you think Tokyo is the epitome of the concrete jungle,we invite you to take a closer look on the seat of a bicycle while you cycle through the many tree lined streets in our beloved city. We have so many of
these lovely streets that we decided that this year’s theme will focus on an appreciation of these streets and have designed this year’s route to capture the best of these scenic roads. Some of the exciting sights on the route include an Edo-period tree close to an old castle moat, the Imperial Palace,
and the Meiji Jingu-Gaien park.

So you think you know the best bicycle routes in Tokyo? Have a passion for cycling and for Earthday activities? Then come join our Earthday staff and help us fine-tune this year’s route. One easy way is to participate in the Sunday afternoon test rides we have scheduled for Feb 15th, March 15th, and April 12th. It’s a great way to get involved and to experience the changing
of the seasons.

The actual Earthday Ride will take place on Sunday, April 19th. We’re anticipating the most successful Earthday Ride yet so hope to see you there!

[Date] April 19,2009

[Time] Ride starts at 13:00 (registration 11am-12:45pm　) The Jingu-Gaien area will be re-opened for automobile traffic by 16:00.

[*Optional Bicycle Riding Class] We’ll be offering bicycle riding training classes between 11am and 12:30.
There will be two classes:
1) 3rd grade to junior high school students; and
2) high school students to adults.
Maximum of 15 persons per class so please come early if you want to attend.
*Provided by the Tokyo Cycling Federation and the Tokyo Cycling
Association.

[Start Place] Jingu-Gaien on the street lined with ginkgo trees. We will
hold Earthday Ride related events here.

[Fee] 1500 yen (covers insurance as well as an Earthday Ride sticker & “tenugui” handkerchief)
Number of Participants will be capped at 300 so register early.

-You must provide your own bicycle which must be equipped with brakes
-No cancellation due to rain so please come prepared with raingear
-Helmet and gloves are recommended
-Please observe all traffic laws
-Pace will be nice and slow to enjoy the scenery (7 ~ 10kms)
-The Earthday Ride sticker and the “tenugui” handkerchief will be given to riders only on the day of the ride
- Please bring your receipt on the day of the ride as proof of payment.
-Photos of the riders will be taken during the ride and some of the photos
may be posted on the Earthday Ride website and other medias.

自転車は早い内に免許制にした方が良いですね。

本当に危なすぎます。

ライトは絶対につけてください。

逆につけない理由を教えていただきたいですね。ライトをつけておらず、事故に巻き込まれた場合は全て自転車の方が悪いのではないかと。。。

それぐらいライトをつけないことは危険ですね。

駅からの帰り道、突然自転車が横を通りビックリします。あれで突っ込まれたと思うとゾクッとします。

ライトをつけていればこちらも身構えることが出来ますからね。

お互いにリスクヘッジにつながることですからね。

自転車はもっと普及して欲しいのに、無灯火での事故等があると自転車が悪いモノになってしまうので、

是非ともライトの点灯！あと、自転車にも十分な法規制をかける方法も考えるべきかと思います。
